3M, if the intact looking skin (but nerves underneath on fire like through rip cage surgeries) cannot stand the shown "press down, hold pad, stretch film out", what other options are there to remove tegaderm sticky frame around a pad like here without any, any physical pressure or pull please? Would oil, alcohol, anything topical lift it off (and residue evaporate or be wiped gently away with nacl pad)? We had 3 Tegaderm pad removals and the slowest pull like shown here in this clip upsetting the site so bad for 24h, that pain increased and needed either opioids or had a sleepless night. On fire. No redness, no allergy, no infection. Simply the location and surgery type causing a very sensitive innervated skin area around surgical cuts. Please show another removal method where the skin is not as hardy like on a limb or is irritated by cut nerves which would send any patient screaming with this shown mechanical method. It might be rare, but can happen. We tried adhesive remover wipes, but they dont work topically, only mm for mm under the film once lifted a corner wiping again with some kind of pull hence that upsets the area so badly and for long too. Any adhesive dissolving solution that can be used topically on the surface outside on tegaderm and then just lift it off unstuck from skin without any shown pull would be great. Exists? Ta!

I took it to Harrel where the FedEx picks up and packages, Sharon Borger and send it off and they picked it up to go to Cape Girardeau so it’s been sent two weeks ago

Using this now. I had a pilonadial cyst removal surgery and for 2 weeks of recovery I was in soo much pain. Went back for my post OP and my surgical would opened up. This was applied a day after and my daily pain levels of 6-7 and gone down to a 0.5. I barely feel any discomfort and hopefully this work over the weekend to finally close my wound.

How do you remove it

Although this is a great machine that help aid my healing process. Unfortunately I, my doctor, and wound care team had to immediately discontinue this wound care treatment. I am severely allergic to the tape and it ate my skin up. Leaving severe rash blisters, some even became puss blisters. Which of course added additional measures to treat the rash and making it difficult. A KCI service contacted me and asked if I had received my additional items for the machine and I asked if a different type of tape was available for people with sensitive skin and she informed me she was not aware because no one has asked her that question before. I hate I didn’t get to complete my care with the system because no doubt in my mind I would’ve healed faster, now just going to take a lil longer.

You know this is all well and good but if you would send your representative out here I will gladly give him this machine I don't like it someone called me about this machine and she said well your time is up with the machine I said okay I said I can't get to the UPS office to get it sent off said I'm disabled and I have no transportation she said well how about getting a KCI representative come and get it I'll call him and he'll call you and you can make arrangements for him to come by and pick it up I said okay but so far it hasn't happened! I hate this machine so come and get it, sooner rather than later PLEASE! 😡

Incorect. You need to have plastic under the end of the bridge or it will suck the spunge to skin and leave a red suction mark.

I'm currently using this treatment to heal a big surgical wound on my ankle. I'm truly grateful for how well this therapy works. My wound is finally healing.
